JBJ Events tournaments are open to youth volleyball teams in age divisions from 12U to 18U. Some events may offer modified divisions—check the specific event page for details.

Teams can register at jbj-events.com by selecting the event you wish to join or directly through AES.

Format varies slightly by event, but most include:

  • 2-day tournaments: 5 match minimum
  • 3-day tournaments: 7 match minimum

Teams compete in pool play followed by bracket playoffs on the final day.

  • Full schedule: Released the Monday prior to the event

Schedules are posted on VBschedule.com and emailed to all registered clubs.

Yes. All athletes must meet the appropriate age division and hold a valid membership with USAV, AAU, or JVA.
Rosters must be uploaded and verified in AES before the event.

Each team may list up to 15 players and 3 coaches. Rosters must be accurate and verified in AES by the roster deadline.

Teams are responsible for bringing:

  • Team uniforms and personal gear
  • Warm-up balls and ball carts

The venue will provide game balls and competition courts.

Yes. All matches are officiated by certified referees:

  • Pool play: Certified R1; teams must provide an adult coach to R2.
  • Playoffs: Certified R1 and R2 for semifinals and finals.

All pool play matches require a coach to R2, it cannot be a player

Yes! We encourage families and fans to attend. All spectators must follow the JBJ Events Spectator Code of Conduct to ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants.

  • No outside chairs or seating
  • No coolers, except for medical or infant-care needs
  • No outside food or beverage
  • Athletes may bring water bottles (including gallon jugs)

Parking varies by venue. Details will be shared in the pre-event information email and posted on the event webpage.

Yes, most venues provide concessions or nearby dining options. Check your event’s information page for specifics.

Results and updates are available on VBschedule.com and AES.
Official results are submitted to the national office by the Tuesday following the event.

No outside media, production, or film crews are permitted without prior written approval from JBJ Events.

  • No flash photography
  • All media requests must be submitted before the tournament

JBJ Events follows all current local and state health guidelines. Safety measures (such as sanitization stations or mask use) will be communicated in advance of each event if applicable.

Participants and spectators are expected to adhere to these guidelines for everyone’s safety.

JBJ Events is insured through ESP Specialty Insurance. 

Only service animals will be permitted.

JBJ Events reserves the right to suspend or remove any team, coach, or club affiliate that fails to comply with JBJ, venue, or governing-body policies.
