ABOUT
Get ready for the 2nd Annual First State Showdown – the premier girls’ volleyball event on the East Coast! Mark your calendars for May 2-3, 2026, as top teams battle it out in Newark, DE & Downingtown, PA. This high-energy tournament features 12-18 Premier girls’ divisions, guaranteeing five matches per team.
12U & 14U Divisions will be played in Downingtown, PA at the United Sports Complex. 13’s, 15’s, 16’s, 17’s, and 18’s will be played in Newark, DE at the University of Delaware
REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted into the tournament, each team must book 5 rooms per night for the duration of the event.
We’ve secured exclusive discounted rates to help keep costs low and create a smooth, unified experience for all the teams.
Teams within 50 miles of the venue are exempt.

Children 9 and under are free
Spectators will be required to upload a selfie or image of themselves when purchasing a ticket. This photo will appear on the QR code scanner at entry to verify your identity.

Team Check-In
For teams competing in Newark, DE: All teams must check-in Friday May, 1, 2026, between 6pm-9pm inside the Bob Carpenter Center.
For teams competing in Downingtown, PA: All teams must check-in Friday May, 1, 2026, between 6pm-9pm inside the United Sports Complex.

Each coach will receive an email with an individual QR code for entry following team check-in.
