ABOUT
Get ready for the 2nd Annual AAU First State Showdown – the premier girls’ volleyball event on the East Coast! Mark your calendars for May 2-3, 2026, as top teams battle it out in Newark, DE. This high-energy tournament features 12-18 Premier girls’ divisions, guaranteeing five matches per team at the University of Delaware.
REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted into the tournament, each team must book 5 rooms per night for the duration of the event.
We’ve secured exclusive discounted rates to help keep costs low and create a smooth, unified experience for all the teams.
Teams within 50 miles of the venue are exempt. Need a waiver? Let us know – we’re always going to prioritize kids getting to play.
All players and coaches must have an active 2025-2026 AAU membership.

$40 – 2 day pass
$20 – 1 day pass
Children 9 and under are free
Spectators will be required to upload a selfie or image of themselves when purchasing a ticket. This photo will appear on the QR code scanner at entry to verify your identity.

Team Check-In
All teams must check-in Friday May, 1, 2026, between 6pm-9pm inside the Bob Carpenter Center.
**Please ensure coaches emails are correct in AES**
Each coach will receive an email with an individual QR code for entry.
All players, coaches, team managers, or anyone else on the official roster must have a current 2025-2026 AAU membership.
