The 2020 AAU “In it to Win it” Challenge

The Atlantic City Invitational is a 3-day AAU Indoor Girls Junior volleyball tournament hosted at The Rio All Suites and Convention Center.
Team Registration Fee
Team registration fee is $500 per team

All players, coaches and team representatives listed on the team roster must have current AAU membership. We will check all memberships upon checkin on Friday Night. Anyone who does not have their membership current
will not be allowed to participate.
BONUS TOURNAMENT
The Top 2 teams in each division earn a FREE ENTRY into any JBJ Events Tournament during the 2020 Season.
Tournament Application Process
Tournament Registration for all divisions will open on August 1st, 2018 and will remain open until January 30th, 2020 or until each division is full.

How to Pay for Team Registration
Check Payment or credit card is the only way to pay for the tournament
Send your roster and payment in together to be accepted into the tournament. Your date of receipt will be the time we receive both your check and your entry form into our office.

Acceptance into the The “In it to Win it” Challenge
Acceptance for all divisions is a first-come, first-served determined by both the Date of Entry Completion, which is the time we receive your check and Roster Form in our office.
Refund Policy
Any team withdrawing from the event MUST submit an email from the Club Director to us stating the team is withdrawing. The time stamp on the email will serve as the official time of withdrawal from the event.
There are no refunds of entry fees once a team registers for the event and submits payment except for the following two circumstances:
Exception One: If the “In it to Win it” Challenge denies a team entry because the division is filled, the team may cancel its application and receive a full refund of its team registration fee, OR may go on a waiting list.
Exception Two: If the “In it to Win it” Challenge officially places a team on a waiting list, the team may withdraw and obtain a full refund of its team registration fee anything before the event accepts the team into the tournament from the waiting list. Once a team has been accepted into the event, they will not receive a refund.
Team registration fees are non-transferable from one club to another.

Tournament Information Packet
The “In it to Win it” Challenge will not be printing out coaches information packets for handout at Team Check-In.
All information will be available online throughout the event.
Teams that do not check in to the tournament will be subject to a forfeit of their first match.
Player & Staff Passes
At Team Check-In, the Team Representative is issued bag tags for each player and staff member on the roster (up to 12 players and 3 staff members). These bag tags are included as part of the Team Registration Fee – there is no extra charge for them.
Staff members listed on more than one roster receive only one bag tag for the event.
All bag tags must be picked up at one time by the person checking in the team.
Coaches, please remember to issue your player’s their bag tags before you ask them to meet you inside the playing venue. Players who do not have a bag tag will not be allowed into the playing facility.
Results and Roster Updates:
- Enter Results:In order to complete seeding of the event, all competition results should be sent via email to jbjones@jbj-events.com 2 weeks prior to the tournament start date. If we do not receive your competition results you will be seeded last. All competition results must be turned in by April 4th, 2020 by 5pm PST.
- Review Your Roster:Make any necessary roster changes, additions, or deletions. No handwritten changes of any sort are allowed on the Team Roster at Check-In. We will print rosters on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 at5:00pm. Please have all updates completed at that time.
- Team & Coach Requirements:All coaches on the Team Check In Form must be, at a minimum, IMPACT certified. All adult coaches listed on the Team Check In Form must have a current background check through their Region, Junior Volleyball Association or AAU Sports.
To expedite your team check-in process, please have a copy of your roster upon check in. All players participating in the event must be on the roster and may not be on multiple rosters of teams in the event.
ROSTER CHANGES MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO CHECKING IN.
Find a computer at a local hotel or print shop to make changes on a computer.
Spectator Information
Entrance to The “In it to Win it” Challenge requires a guest wristband, no exceptions. (You must wear the wristband at all times. No holding onto wristbands, placement on pursues etc. You will be asked to wear the wristband on your wrist. Failure to do so will result in removal from the tournament and potentially “86” from the property).
